Description:

Our next NARM study-practice group will continue supporting your learning and integration of NARM theory and skills into your clinical practice.  We will begin with a check-in around your comfort level with NARM concepts and skills.  We will then review the Attunement Survival Style, and how to identify this style in your clients.  And then continuing with the Four Pillars-CEDAR model we have been presenting, we will focus on the NARM skills of clarifying the therapeutic contract and supporting agency.  We will review these skills, practice them, and debrief them together.

I’d also like to ask you to do a small bit of preparation for our March group: when working with clients, notice specific comments they make regarding lack of agency, and if possible write them down (and bring them with you to our March group).  Besides just sharpening our attunement to the clinical issues around agency, we will do an exercise with these specific statements that our clients say that reinforce lack of agency.  We look forward to deepening our learning of NARM together.
