“Transforming Your Health” Classes with Brad Kammer

These classes are part of the “Transforming Your Health” series, designed to provide you with a different perspective on health & healing, along with basic tools for dealing with everyday life challenges. You are welcome to attend both classes in the series, or just one individually.

“Transforming Relationships”

Did you know that up to 90% of our daily communication is non-verbal? What that means is that it’s much less important what we say to others, as how we say it. If you’re stuck and frustrated in relationships, you can learn all the communication skills you want, but if you don’t understand the unconscious messages you’re sending and receiving, things may never change.

When our relationships are going well, it triggers states of well-being which promotes both psychological and physical health. However, when our relationships are not going well, as old patterns of conflict and distrust become stuck and sides become fixed, we often experience distress, resentment and fear. Many of those relationships simply don’t make it. And even worse, it can lead to chronic stress and illness.

This educational and experiential workshop is designed to teach you basic tools that will empower you in creating more stable and supportive relationships. We will explore how all sorts of relationships – romantic partners, parents and children, close friends, coworkers, etc. – have the capacity to make us stronger and more resilient.

This class is about learning new ways of positively interacting with others so your relationships work better, feel better to you, and can even lead to improvements in your psychological and physical health.
